pumpkin jam
I N G R E D I E N T S 4 servings
700g pumpkin
300ml apple juice
100ml water
Juice of 2 lemons
500g sugar (ideally 2:1 preserving sugar)
I N S T R U C T I O N S
start by sterilizing your preserving jars by rinsing them with boiling water
then peel the pumpkin, cut it into small pieces and put it in a large pot
add the apple juice and water and let everything cook until the pumpkin is soft
once the pumpkin is soft, puree the jam to your desired consistency - I prefer it when it's not completely smooth
then add the sugar and lemon juice, let everything boil again for a feg minutes
now pour the jam hot into your jars and seal them immediately.
